Lance Wallnau: Donald Trump is God's Choice for President

Dominionists continue to fail to learn from their past mistakes. False prophet Lance Wallnau believes that God wants Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. Every other Republican candidate should take heed of the warning from the last US presidential election: where they attached themselves to one Republican candidate after another, promising each candidate large numbers of voters from the dominionist camp. Each candidate fell for this ploy and accepted the "mantle" laid upon them by the Dominionists. Each candidate then had to withdraw for various reasons and Mitt Romney became the Republican candidate. Thus the "christian right" was faced with the stark choice of Barak Obama (a democrat) or Mitt Romney (a Mormon) and consequently stayed away from the poll in their droves.

Why should Lance Wallnau's intervention make any difference?

Well, Lance Wallnau, a false prophet (as demonstrated by some of his quotations recorded on Zedekiah List) has just pulled off a prophetic stunt. He spoke in the name of the Lord when he said, "... My dear Michael Cohen," referring to Donald Trump's attorney, "I am here with a group of people that are praying for and encouraging Mr. Donald Trump. ... God has given this man an anointing for the mantle of government in the United States and he will prosper." Amongst those present when he made this statement were prosperity preachers Kenneth Copeland, Paula White and TBN's Jan Crouch.

What God-given right from scripture does Wallnau have to deliver such an emphatic statement? Lance Wallnau also said the following: [Donald Trump] fears God as best he knows Him and he is the only Cyrus I see fulfilling Isaiah 45 for the 45th President. He did at least quote scripture: This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip nations of their armour, to open doors before him, so that gates will not be shut. Isaiah 45 v1. Cyrus is the king whom Isaiah prophesied would allow Israel back to their land after the seventy years of Babylonian exile. This actually happened. Lance Wallnau has allegorised this prophecy of Isaiah to make it sound like Donald Trump is God's chosen candidate. He has absolutely no basis for doing this. His choice of Isaiah 45 for the 45th President, means that he is using scripture as an omen. Why not Psalms 45 or Jeremiah 45 or Ezekiel 45. Scripture strictly forbids the interpretation of omens. Let no-one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practises divination or sorcery, interprets omens engages in witchcraft or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist, or who consults the dead. Deuteronomy 18 v10.

However, Lance Wallnau appears to describe a Christian as someone who fears God as best he knows Him. This could describe someone from any religion and falls well short of the scriptural requirements for being a born-again Christian.

Since it can be so easily demonstrated that Lance Wallnau is a false prophet and giving another false prophecy, surely it is impossible that it should come to pass. This can only mean that either: Donald Trump will be beaten at the election by the Democratic candidate; or sometime in the future Donald Trump will withdraw his nomination. In this case the dominionists will seek another candidate to be their chosen one, and their logic dictates therefore that if they have time to get through all 13 candidates then the Democratic candidate will be president.

Finally, whatever does happen, even should Trump did get elected as President, then the overall loser in all of this will be the true Body of Christ, which will reap the approbation of the world for this piece of wickedness.
