Kevin Basconi: Working with Creative Angels
Just when it seemed that everything was quiet on the false preacher front, what happens? Up pops a new one: Kevin Basconi to be precise. Kevin has an 82 minute tape here and yes it is featured on Patricia King's website xpmedia.com. The title, which reads working-with-angels-of-creative-miracles-in-the-glory-realms alone could be dismantled and lead to several questions: Can we work with angels? Are there angels of creative miracles? Are there such things as creative miracles? Is there a glory realm? Scripture says an emphatic "No" to each one of them.The saddest thing is that Kevin Basconi is teaching an audience of young people and he's telling them things like I believe that God is releasing at this day and this hour angels of creative miracles, angels of glory that invade our realm and they co-labour with us to release the Kingdom of God in our sphere of influence. So this was all birthed in 2011 on the Day of Atonement. So let me take just a couple of minutes and share with you what happened. This is sad because scripture is totally silent on every part of the above sentence. Is the Lord releasing at this hour? Why can Kevin decree it? Well, part of the answer is that Kevin is a dominionist. He believes that Christians are called to govern the world. This will be accomplished by taking over the seven spheres of society namely: business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion. To do this requires money, heaps of it, so the angels of creative miracles are going to co-labour with us. Why don't they just create the money if they are creative angels? Once the world is dominated, they will invite their weak Jesus to come and reign over us. All this is to take place because Kevin was told this on the Day of Atonement.
Next Kevin gives us the details of a storm that he saw and says at 4.20 seconds And as I stood there watching this storm get closer and closer I couldn't move. And all of a sudden I heard this extremely loud blast of the shofar and I turned around and looked and I saw the most beautiful sunset that I've ever seen in my life and as I began to look at the sunset there was a rip in the heavenly atmosphere and I saw millions of angels begin to fall through that rip. You see these angels began to move from one dimension into another. They begin to come over the storm and guess who was leading the angels? The Lord of Hosts! And there came Jesus on this magnificent white charger and I was amazed. After a period of time Jesus rode right up to me on this beautiful white horse and he stopped in front of me. He pulled me up on his horse with him. Scripture says: I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With Justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no-one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
Firstly, there is no mention in scripture of this army bumping into Kevin. Secondly, there is no mention of Kevin riding on this horse with Jesus. This is the only mention of Jesus appearing like this throughout the entire Bible and yet Kevin takes liberties with scripture to impress his audience. Is Kevin claiming some special revelation that elevates him to this exalted position? It certainly sounds like it. This is a momentous moment in the history of this world when Jesus returns just prior to his Millenial reign and yet, there, slap bang in the middle of it all, is Kevin.
This is hyper-charismaticism at its worst. Maybe Kevin did dream this nonsense but that does not confer on him any rights to throw it onto an impressionable audience. Hyper-charismatics are willfully departing from the truth. Do they just simply wish to elevate themselves above their audience? It seems sometimes that members of XPMedia have a competition to see who can say the most outlandish things and certainly in this round Kevin wins. However, Kevin is a loser and so is his audience. No-one hearing this blasphemous tripe will come to a true saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour since the truth is being both warped and often totally disregarded.
