Jane Hamon: A New Salvation

The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) has a different soteriology to that found in the Bible. Their means of salvation is to experience the "presence of God". If we choose a different route for our salvation then it is no salvation at all and we remain in our sinful, hopeless state with an eternity of hell before us.

Jane Hamon, wife of Tom Hamon, writes on the Elijah List, saying When the Holy Spirit reveals Himself in new ways we will be set free from sin, from defeating habit patterns and from limiting mindsets that hold us in survival. The Holy Spirit will break us out of survival and bring us into revival!

First of all, this is a supposed rhema word. This means that it comes from the oracles of God and updates scripture. This fact alone demonstrates the ignorance and willful disobedient of the leaders of the NAR. The Bible tells us that I warn everyone who hears the words of prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book. And if anyone takes away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book. Revelation 22 vv18-19. Would you want to be counted amongst such persons?

Now Jane Hamon is telling people that we will receive forgiveness of sins when the Holy Spirit reveals himself in new ways. Jane is putting the proverbial cart before the horse. The Bible says: the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1John 1 v7. Without that cleansing from sin we cannot be born again. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. John 3 v18. So you see we will not be saved if the Holy Spirit reveals himself - as Jane tells us.

Jane error is in believing that God's Holy Spirit works on his own initiative. He does not work in that way. There can only be revival when and where people sense their sinful helplessness and look to Jesus. Looking anywhere else is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sin and therefore ignoring our sinfulness is sin itself and we cannot be saved. Sadly, Jane Hamon like every other New Apostolic Reformation prophet preaches another gospel, which is no gospel at all. Avoid.
