Eileen Fisher: You are The Word!

Eileen Fisher holds a weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado. So why do people attend this school when she writes heresy on the Elijah List such as: I will send you to the North, South, East and West; and in doing so I say be the living Word of God. Live My Word, breathe My Word, endure My Word through hardship, and let My Word endure through you through the hardship. You in turn will understand the power of My Word. Do you not understand the Word became flesh and dwelt among you? Now I say, Let My Word dwell in your flesh and you become My Word If she meant that we are merely servants who carry His word into the world then: all well and good. But that is not what she has written. The Bible tells us to preach the word but not be the word.

This illustrates the mess that charismatics have got themselves into. If you speak a word of prophecy then it is God's word and if it is God's word then why is there a conflict with the Bible as in this case? One way to get round this problem is to call it a "now" word and some go even further and call it a "rhema" word. Neither of these terms or any others are true to scripture. According to Paul: To one is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit. 1Corinthians 12 v8. The greek word for message in each case here is logos not rhema as you might expect. So even their application of calling it a "rhema" word is not true to scripture. To call it a "now" word implies an addition to scripture, yet the canon of scripture is closed and the warning is this: I warn everyone who hears the words of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. Revelation 22 v18.

If someone hearing such a word thinks that they are off the hook because someone else has given that word then consider this: Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not have this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work 2John 9-11. Eileen Fisher is running ahead and not continuing in God's Word because she is saying that we can be God's word. According to her that puts us on the same level as Jesus Christ or to put it another way we become Christ. Anyone who hears this word and takes it on board is sharing in her wicked work. Any pastor who invites such people to speak is sharing in their wicked work.

Let's be fair and look at some of her other teaching here. The piece is entitled: It is the Hour of the Kingdom. Eileen is another dominionist announcing, contrary to scripture, that Joel's Army is about to be birthed. It is very common amongst dominionists who, presumably, hope that their prophecy will be the one true announcement, heralding the end of the church age. So how does Eileen know something that Jesus did not know (See Matthew 24 v36)?

She then says: I am anointing your heads with oil tonight," says the Lord your God. "For as you have sent up to Me sweet fragrance of praise and of worship and adoration and celebration, I send down to you the anointing: the anointing of a sound mind, the anointing of healing in your body, the anointing of forgiveness and strength, the anointing that will break every yoke that does cause you to have a downcast heart, mind and spirit. In reply Jesus said: "I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3 v3. Is Eileen telling us that: Our sweet fragrance of praise and of worship will get us into the kingdom of God and this is being born again. This is a work of man not a sovereign act of God. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so no man can boast. Ephesians 2 vv8-9.

She then says: You are moving into a serious, serious time," says the Lord your God. "It is the hour of the Kingdom. Be not afraid of the warfare, but run to the warfare and demand IT to give up the ground. I will not send you into the battle unprepared, but I will have you stand in the midst with victory, with oil, with rejoicing. So Eileen believes in spiritual warfare of the kind espoused by C Peter Wagner rather than that described by the Apostle Paul. Wagner says things like: ... And now God can trust us with assignments of spiritual warfare that he was not able to entrust us before. So that's why spiritual warfare is so important now. Probably ten years ago we would not have had a seminar on spiritual warfare. Because God has brought us to a place where he could trust us with that. ... So therefore God was not able to trust the apostle Paul with it? Wagner is blatantly adding to scripture.

Back to Eileen, she says: Lay before Me. Present a living sacrifice before Me. Bring Me Isaac and let Me provide. I shall provide the sacrifice for it was provided. Now I want you to understand how to partake of the sacrifice. When you learn to understand how to partake of My sacrifice, then My sacrifice will burn within you. Did Jesus ever say Now I want you to understand how to partake of the sacrifice? No, never. The christian faith is all about one sacrifice, that is: Jesus's death on a cross.

I am training My own to wait in My presence, sense My presence, but let My presence sense you. It will sense fear, unbelief, doubt. It will transform your heart for healing and preparation because it is a new day. Here we have some charismatic buzzwords My presence and transform. Three of the disciples experienced Jesus' presence at his transfiguration but it did not change them. Where in scripture does it say we should wait in his presence? Jesus said: For where two or three are come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18 v20. This is a faith statement so where is there a hint about waiting in that verse? Eileen Fisher's theology is way off and as a result many of her statements are heretical.

This is not to be unfair and judgemental, so do not blame on-line discernment ministries for highlighting such heretical nonsense.
