Joyce Meyer Quotes
Nine Quotes by: Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries God doesn't want you to have little faith, He wants you to have BIG faith ... and He wants you to ask Him for and believe for things that your mind cannot get in agreement with. So why not go ahead and just be daring ... dare to have the boldness, the courage, and the confidence to have an unreserved approach to God without fear!

I'm not here just to tell you my great story of success, but I want you to know that God is no respecter of persons and what he does for one person he will do for another, but it's not going to happen if we don't trust him. Trust him. And trust in God means that we stop trying to make things happen ourselves and we wait on God. Somebody love waiting. We wait on God its a printable[?] word even to say it. And God doesn't do it as we'd like him to or the way we'd like him to, but I can promise you today that if you will keep your eyes on God and trust him to be your recompense and to be your reward and to be your vindicator you will get double blessings for your former trouble. Amen.

... [10.25] The first area I want to talk about today which can affect your future, because your words do affect your future, you literally can prophesy your future, if you want to. How many of you have things which you want to see happen to you in the future. You need more increase in the future. You want to carry a stronger anointing in the future and you want to have more favour in the future. You want to be promoted in life in the future. Well, God wants great things for you. The Bible clearly says that he has a good future planned for us, but it wont just happen automatically just because God planned something does not mean that it's an automatic - it means that he's telling us what his will is and he wants us to cooperate with him. We are partners with God. He always does his part if we will do our part. Now the first thing I want to talk about is: in order for you to live fully in the wonderful life which God wants you to have, you have to learn to talk about yourself and how to talk to yourself in a right way. What you say about yourself to yourself and to other people is possibly one of the most important things in your life because guess what? You are never going to progress beyond your opinion of yourself.

Today we are going to talk about words. You know, words are containers for power. They carry creative or destructive power. They carry positive or negative power. We can choose our words and we should do it carefully.

During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin. He paid the price there ... no plan was too extreme ... Jesus paid on the cross and in hell.... God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, ‘Let Him go.’ Then the resurrection power of Almighty God went through hell and filled Jesus ... He was resurrected from the dead — the first born-again man. ... His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go. Remember in the very beginning of this, I said, ‘When you die, only your body dies. The rest of you, your soul and spirit, goes either to heaven or hell. There is no hope of anyone going to heaven unless they believe this truth I am presenting. You cannot go to heaven unless you believe with all your heart that Jesus took your place in hell.

I’m going to tell you something folks, I didn’t stop sinning until I finally got it through my thick head I wasn’t a sinner any more. And the religious world thinks that’s heresy and they want to hang you for it. But the Bible says that I’m righteous and I can’t be righteous and be a sinner at the same time ... All I was ever taught to say was, ‘I’m a poor, miserable sinner.’ I am not poor, I am not miserable and I am not a sinner. That is a lie from the pit of hell. That is what I was and if I still am then Jesus died in vain. Amen?
